RevenueCat makes building, analyzing, and growing mobile subscriptions easy. We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling more than $8B of in-app purchases annually across thousands of apps.
We are a mission driven, remote-first company that is building the standard for mobile subscription infrastructure. Top apps like ChatGPT, VSCO, Notion, and ClassDojo count on RevenueCat to power their subscriptions at scale.
Our 100 team members (and growing!) are located all over the world, from New York City to Madrid to Cape Town. We're a close-knit, product-driven team, and we strive to live our core values: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
About the Role:
We recently closed our Series C, and we’re looking for a VP of Finance to work directly with the CEO to lead financial strategy and operations as we look ahead to the next phase.
What You’ll Do:
Own and operate the company’s balance sheet. Lead core finance functions: accounting, AR/AP, tax, audit, procurement.
Lead strategic finance and FP&A. Build and maintain our model, and partner with leadership to set financial strategy. Evaluate potential acquisitions, size business opportunities.
Support board meetings and fundraising. Own key business metrics and shape our synthesis at the executive level.
Operationalize sales finance and deal desk. Ensure fast close and flexible pricing for our rapidly growing SaaS business. Partner with sales and legal to make this process sing.
Build the team and stack to take us from Series C to IPO. Source, hire and manage the talent and the toolset that will support us through our next major milestones: fundraises, audits, and IPO.
About You:
You have 8+ years of finance leadership in a high-growth SaaS company
You have experience scaling a company and team, ideally through IPO or acquisition
You’re a systems thinker. You can step back from the particular and see the process. You look for opportunities to automate.
You act like an owner. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get something done yourself. You treat RevenueCat’s balance sheet like it’s your own, and believe in its potential.
You’re a deep expert. You understand everything down to the nuts and bolts, even if you’re operating the process at arm’s lengths. Every job you hire for is one you can do yourself.
You’re a collaborator. You work well with others, and work hard to enable your teammates to succeed — whether it's closing a sale, making a hire, or buying a company.
You know when it’s good enough. You are obsessed with the details, and getting things right, but you know when you’re at diminishing returns. You can zoom out from the dollars and distinguish a big deal from a small deal.
