Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Central Expense team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role you will oversees and directs a range of complex expense-related activities for funds with intricate portfolio assets and transactions. This role includes strategic oversight of expense allocation, budgeting, invoice processing, variance analysis, and expense cap compliance. Provides methodological guidance and contributes to the development of best practices, and is responsible for managing and developing the team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
You’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as a primary liaison with clients, delivering insights on fund expense structures for complex funds and addressing high-level inquiries with clarity and authority.
- Provide strategic input into methodologies and review and approve the work of junior and mid-level team members to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
- Lead the analysis and preparation of fund budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements, and present findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve complex fund issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Manage and mentor the team, including assigning tasks, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Significant experience in fund accounting, expense management, or financial operations within the asset management industry.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex financial projects.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, expense ratio reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Excel, ERP platforms, and expense management software.
- Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- Initiative – Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
