About the Team
The Sales team which sits within the Irish business unit at hummgroup, are responsible driving volume and profitability in Ireland across all Humm products. We are a relatively flat organisational structure, and as a member of the team you are accountable for end-to-end responsibility for your area of focus and will need to be flexible and able to take on additional and/or different accountabilities as required.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to build and maintain strong working relationships with our merchant partners to grow our share of business in Ireland, through high seller engagement and exceptional instore sales support and compliance management.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
The Vertical Sales Manager is responsible for managing relationships across a set of verticals/industries, working with businesses AKA ‘merchants’ which includes, but is not limited to, developing and executing the sales & marketing strategy for those channels, and driving the channel’s end to end activity in support of the company sales objectives (including meeting volume and NPAT budgets), ensuring Online and instore POS experience is optimised including visual Merchandise instore and website experience online.
You would be accountable for:
- Pro- actively managing relationships across a portfolio of assigned merchants across set vertical(s) and segment(s).
- Meeting with key stakeholders at a seller’s head office in person and virtually to increase visibility and use of the Humm product across online and instore opportunities.
- Understanding their business and developing and executing a sales and marketing plan with sellers
- Working in a collaborative manner across the wider Humm team to assist with projects and product improvements.
- Training key stakeholders within your assigned verticals for continuous improvement.
- Supporting your portfolio with the highest level of account management considerations.
- Reporting and communicating to the sellers and internal teams including structures QBR’s
- Ensure Instore POS is displayed and maintained in accordance to humm quality standards.
