Job Summary
As a Verification & Validation Engineer, you will join a highly motivated team dedicated to developing innovative solutions for customers in the Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Robotics, and Industrial Automation sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for the specification and validation of our products. You will work closely with Firmware, Hardware, and Field Application Engineers to fulfil the requirements of our Engineering department. Additionally, you will conduct fault investigations on issues as they arise.Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own verification/validation process of Roboteq products including both hardware and firmware validation.
- Work closely with firmware, hardware and controls engineers to develop and execute test procedures for motor controller validation.
- Derive comprehensive validation plans based on project requirements & specifications.
- Support and enhance functional test platforms for production / factory acceptance testing.
- Support and enhance automated testing tools to facilitate efficient and repeatable testing processes.
- Contribute to testbench integration & development of testbench diagnostic & safety functions.
- Organize & perform e-drive functional, performance & certification tests in lab environment.
- Perform test measurements, post-process measurement data & derive technical reports.
- Propose new testing methods, tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of experience in working in QA testing / automation.
- Understanding of Electromagnetics and Electronics principles, relating to e-drives.
- Strong and analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience in C, Python programming and IDE environments is highly preferred.
- Experience in Motion Control and Robotics fields is highly preferred.
- Experience in LabView or similar development platforms is considered a plus.
- Ability to design Electrical boards and/or mechanical fixtures for testing purposes, is considered a plus.
- English language: good speaking and writing level.
- Good communication skills, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
