Your role at Clorox:

The Contracts Manager is responsible for the centralized management and operational governance of the vendor management office and distribution-related contracts. This role focuses on ensuring that contract terms are effectively executed, monitored, and continuously improved in alignment with Clorox’s supply chain strategy, legal compliance standards, and commercial goals.

In this role, you will:

Manage the Vendor Management and Distributor Management offshore teams

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with key internal teams including GBS, Legal, Procurement; Finance, and etc… (as applicable) ensure contract strategies are aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Reporting Line: This role reports to the Director of Vendor Management Office.
  • Contract Governance & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of vendor and distribution contracts, including initiation, execution, renewal, amendment, and termination processes. Ensure adherence to Clorox policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Contract digitisation and Visualisation: Oversee the digitisation of contracts, design and implement digital dashboards to display relevant insights for stakeholders.
  • Vendors Performance Monitoring: Support the Procurement Function with monitoring and reporting on Vendor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) per the contract. Provide regular reporting through QVRs and monthly governance review and provide insights to stakeholders on contract performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Issue Management & Escalation: Act as the primary escalation point for contract compliance issues, service distributions, or deviations from agreed terms. Coordinate cross-functional resolution in collaboration with legal, procurement, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and escalate risk associated with vendor and distributor engagements, ensuring business continuity and adherence to SLAs.
  • Distributor and Vendor Governance: Ensure proper governance structures are in place, leading quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders to drive accountability and performance of Vendors and Distributors.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with Procurement and Contract Services to gather stakeholder feedback and align contract management practices with business needs.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management in a legal firm, logistics operations, or supply chain governance, preferably in a multinational or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of contract structures, performance metrics, and regulatory requirements in distribution or logistics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms or other contract management systems is a plus
