J ob Role
Main responsibilities will be to contribute directly to the development of brand medico- marketing strategies; to provide accurate scientific knowledge about the therapeutic areas and brands in line with Pfizer policies and local requirements; and to manage internal and stakeholder relations in a respective and " Patient First " manner.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to directly Primary Care Medical Lead (Vaccines and Internal Medicine), Turkey of the organization, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Pfizer brands and therapeutic areas per Pfizer policies and local requirements
- Update any area- or brand-related scientific information accurately and deliver it to internal and external stakeholders promptly with the best available tools
- Collaborating with all corresponding parties during the development of brand strategies
- Identify and build medical activities and research partnerships with healthcare professionals including interventional and / or non-interventional studies
- Establishing enduring relations with both internal (BU, Div., GI/Reg. etc.) and external (Gou/MoH/SSI/OLs/AIFD) stakeholders, be responsible for communicating, developing of Opinion Leaders, creating and implementing customer management plan
- Advocating and maintaining Pfizer ethical reputation with scientific stakeholders and health authority
- Keeping brand medical information updated in line with local regulatory requirements
- Developing and sign-off of promotional materials and / or educational campaigns by ensuring that any scientific data used and presented are in line with Pfizer policies and local regulations
- Shapes, executes and tracks the annual medical plan and the annual medical budget for the relevant products (including clinical trial and publication plans)
- Leading advisory board meetings and follow up the outcomes closely in alignment with Pfizer rules and local requirements
- Making gap and competitor analysis, developing and managing a life cycle plan via working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, shaping the environment during the product launch processes
- Developing medical content for congresses, symposia or any such projects according to Pfizer policies and local compliance rules
- Providing medical training activities for internal and external stakeholders; prepare and review all training materials
Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills
- University degree from Pharmacy (PhD required), or Medical Faculty,
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Turkish and English
- Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company in a similar position is of preference
- A good understanding of the medical data and the capability to generate outcomes
- A good understanding of clinical research, e.g. study protocols, reports, and publications
- A good understanding of the compliance framework for medical interactions, e.g. local legislation and AIFD Code of Promotion
- Analytical skills and a multi-task focus with the ability to think proactively and strategically
- A good knowledge of the local healthcare system and environment
- Advancing a quality culture environment
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Set
- For male candidates, completion of military service is of preference
- No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
- Located in ANKARA and/or ISTANBUL
