UK & Ireland Country Head

About the Role
Safari AI already works with UK-headquartered enterprises such as Merlin Entertainments, and demand from operators across the UK and Ireland in attractions, live venues, retail and hospitality is growing. Safari AI now needs a Country Head to run the UK & Ireland business as its general manager responsible for sales, client success, and activations. You will be the first Safari AI leader on the ground in the region and will own its growth end to end: winning new enterprise clients, making existing clients successful, building partnerships, and hiring the local team. This role is based in London, reports to and works directly with the Miami-based CEO, and works closely with the Go To Market and Engineering teams in Miami and Vancouver. We welcome country managers, general managers, senior enterprise sales and client success leaders, and top-tier management and transformation consultants to apply.

What You Will Own

• Regional P&L and growth: set the UK & Ireland go-to-market plan, revenue targets and budget with the CEO, and report on results
• New business: build and close a pipeline of enterprise clients across attractions, live venues, sports, retail, QSR and hospitality
• Client success: be the senior point of contact for UK & Ireland clients, lead QBR's, prove ROI and grow accounts
• Partnerships: build relationships with camera, systems integrator, technology and channel partners in the region
• Team building: hire, lead and develop the local team (sales, client success and deployment) as the region grows
• Operations: coordinate deployments with Engineering, and work with Finance and legal advisors on local contracting, data protection (UK GDPR / EU GDPR) and procurement requirements
• Market presence: represent Safari AI at industry events and conferences, and bring local market insight back into product and company strategy

Requirements for the Role

• Mandatory #1: Track record of owning commercial results in the UK & Ireland as a country manager, general manager, or senior enterprise sales, account, client or client success leader
• Mandatory #2: You can point to specific value created and show how you calculated ROI for clients
• Established network among enterprise operators in the UK & Ireland (attractions, venues, sports, retail, hospitality or similar)
• AI-first: We expect you to be currently using as many relevant AI tools as available to leverage your time and 'multiply yourself'
• Fast technical learner: eager to learn about new technologies and how they can be applied to legacy industries
• Experience crafting, soliciting and communicating ROI, Payback Periods, and other financial performance metrics
• Proven ability and willingness to serve clients in a variety of industries, not just one vertical
• Comfortable being the first employee in a new region and working across time zones with a US-based leadership team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland, and occasionally to the US to meet with the Exec team and Board of Directors
• Experience building and managing a team strongly preferred
