Job Description

A creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Development Engineer to design and develop intuitive user interfaces for robotic applications in our semiconductor fabrication (fab) facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, software development, and a passion for enhancing user experiences in high-tech environments

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for robotic control systems and automation software used in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, software developers, and process engineers, to understand user requirements and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and workflows.
  • Implement UI designs using front-end development technologies and frameworks.
  • Ensure the software interfaces are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance our software applications.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, style guides, and user manuals.

Minimum Degree Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience/Education:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing user interfaces for software applications, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with robotic applications and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
