Job Description

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a Treasury team responsible for all Treasury functions within the bank. This role will have a key focus on the management, analysis and reporting of the bank’s investment securities portfolio – including fixed income bonds, High-Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA) and Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs) – while continuing to support core Asset and Liability Management activities and day-to-day risk management and reporting.

Key Accountabilities:

Portfolio Management

  • Support the day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting of the bank’s investment securities portfolio, including composition, performance, and adherence to approved limits.

  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of fixed income bond holdings, including valuation, yield, duration, and credit quality.

  • Support the build-out and ongoing monitoring of the HQLA securities portfolio.

  • Support CLO investment onboarding, monitoring and reporting – including tranche performance, collateral quality and exposure limits.

  • Contribute to portfolio construction and investment decision support through data-driven analysis.

Asset & Liability Management / Treasury

  • Provide support and back up to all treasury Asset and Liability Management activities.

  • Balance Sheet FX management including the execution of FX trades.

  • Support ad-hoc regulatory requests pertaining to treasury and portfolio activity.

  • Process improvement with development and review of procedures in a control related environment.

  • Contribute to the preparation of content for the monthly Asset Liability Management Committee pack.

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum three years treasury, investment or portfolio management experience.

  • Experience across fixed income / bond portfolios and an understanding of structured credit (e.g. CLOs).

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Skills/Disposition

  • Strong (internal) customer focus.

  • Strong MS Excel skills required.

  • Strong MS PowerPoint skills, with attention to detail over final output.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple activities with competing deadlines.

  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers, other banks.

Beneficial Skills

  • Knowledge of CLO structures and structured credit instruments.

  • Data analytics and financial modelling capability (e.g. Python, advanced Excel, VBA) .

  • Interest Rate Swap (IRS) and broader derivative experience.

  • Familiarity with portfolio analytics / risk systems (e.g. Intex, Bloomberg).

Additional information:

The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
