Our global records management business provides secure storage and information management services. We specialise in protecting and managing the vital records, documents, and digital assets of organisations across the UK and worldwide. Our extensive warehouse operations are crucial to this, involving the secure physical storage, inventory management, and retrieval of critical information, ensuring compliance and accessibility for our diverse client base.

Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and organised Transport Supervisor to join our Records Management team. The role will be based at our Aerodrome Business Park, Rathcoole facility, however, there will be a requirement to travel to both our Damastown and Athy sites as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a transport team. Your role is to ensure that our customers' most sensitive data and physical records are transported securely and efficiently through optimising daily logistics planning, and ensuring the absolute safety and compliance of our fleet operations across our Dublin and Athy hubs

Your role in our mission:

  • Lead and develop a team of drivers to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining high engagement and performance standards.

  • Coordinate complex logistics and maintenance schedules to maximise fleet efficiency and minimise downtime across the Rathcoole, Damastown, and Athy locations.

  • Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve delivery challenges and improve the overall client experience.

  • Ensure strict compliance with regulations, health and safety policies, and organisational standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in transport or logistics supervision, specifically within a high-volume distribution or records management environment.

  • Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph rules, Driver CPC requirements, and vehicle maintenance standards.

  • Proven ability in route planning and people management, with the agility to solve real-time operational hurdles.

  • A full clean driving license (and the flexibility to travel between regional sites)
