Responsibilities :

JOB PURPOSE/MISSION/SUMMARY: 

The Transition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Transition Project Manager to deliver successful deployment projects across global locations. This position requires strong customer-facing and communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients. 

 

The role is responsible for coordinating all phases of deployment, independently managing tasks, and proactively resolving issues related to orders, shipments, and scheduling. By maintaining accurate tracking and documentation, reviewing project risks, and escalating concerns as needed, the Transition Coordinator helps drive efficient installations and continuous process improvement. 

 

 

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Project Coordination 

  • Serve as the central coordinator for multiple assigned project activities and elements. 

  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timelines, accuracy and objectives are met. 

  • Participate in meetings to review project feedback and provide status updates. 

 

Scheduling & Deployment 

  • Create and maintain installation schedules; ensure customer deployments are completed on time. 

  • Coordinate delivery of equipment and services with relevant teams. 

  • Track order progression, delivery, up to financial install. Manage changes to deployment schedules if necessary 

  • Share installation details for accurate billing and device maintenance 

 

Risk & Issue Management 

  • Identify transition risks and escalate issues as needed. 

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and proactively resolve delivery or schedule issues. 

Process Improvement 

  • Recognize, document, and implement process or project improvements. 

  • Mentor new Transition Coordinators and provide first-line support for process inquiries. 

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Interface with customers and partners during installations. 

  • Assist with data gathering, asset confirmation, and general support as directed by the Transition Project Manager. 

Reporting & Documentation 

  • Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, and deployments. 

  • Provide timely reports on project status, performance, and customer satisfaction. 

 

 

 

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: 

  • Strong analytical thinking, data reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities 

  • Must possess an eye for detail and the ability to translate insights into business-impacting decisions 

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, tables, ranges) 

  • Able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines 

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills 

  • Proactive in issue identification and escalation 

  • Experienced in customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration 

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and PowerPoint 

  • Comfortable with overtime/weekend work during rollouts 

 

 

   

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline 

  • Advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with MS Project  

  • Experience with SAP and Business Objects, Sharepoint (preferred) 

  • 2+ years in hardware deployments, logistics, order management, or project coordination  

  • Knowledge of Project Management Life Cycle; certifications are a plus  

  • Basic understanding of logistics operations (e.g., staging, last-mile delivery, global services)
