Job Description:
Are you passionate about Learning and Development? Ipsen Dublin is seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to develop, coordinate, and implement our site learning & development strategy. You’ll manage the training programme, oversee our learning management system, and drive best practices in training and development across the site.
About the Role:
As a Training Specialist, you will:
Managing the learning and development program, including technical, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training.
Organizing, delivering, and facilitating training sessions as needed.
Managing training content on the learning platform.
Conducting periodic training needs analysis and developing training curricula.
Assisting Subject Matter Experts in designing training programs.
Maintaining training records and documentation per regulatory requirements.
Ensuring accurate maintenance of training records and curricula on the Ipsen Learning Platform.
Designing training content to meet learning objectives.
Evaluating training delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Supporting continuous improvement of training and development programs.
Participating in cross-functional project teams to establish training goals.
Monitoring training enrollments and compliance.
Reviewing and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the training system.
Managing training grants and government training support.
Defining, developing, and reporting learning and development metrics.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 3–5 years in a similar Learning & Development (L\&D) role within a global organisation, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
Cornerstone Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cornerstone (iLearn) or similar learning management systems is essential.
L\&D Background: Proven ability to develop, deliver, and assess training programs, with a focus on technical, EHS, and GMP training.
Skills: Skilled communicator, adaptable, and able to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders.
Education: Learning and Development qualification / Certified trainer.
Mindset: Passionate about continuous learning, excellence in execution, and driving real impact for patients and society.
Working Arrangement:
This role requires on-site presence at least 4 days per week, with flexibility for remote work as business needs allow.
