Job Description:

Are you passionate about Learning and Development? Ipsen Dublin is seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to develop, coordinate, and implement our site learning & development strategy. You’ll manage the training programme, oversee our learning management system, and drive best practices in training and development across the site.

About the Role:

As a Training Specialist, you will:

  • Managing the learning and development program, including technical, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training.

  • Organizing, delivering, and facilitating training sessions as needed. ​

  • Managing training content on the learning platform. ​

  • Conducting periodic training needs analysis and developing training curricula. ​

  • Assisting Subject Matter Experts in designing training programs. ​

  • Maintaining training records and documentation per regulatory requirements. ​

  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of training records and curricula on the Ipsen Learning Platform. ​

  • Designing training content to meet learning objectives. ​

  • Evaluating training delivery efficiency and effectiveness. ​

  • Supporting continuous improvement of training and development programs. ​

  • Participating in cross-functional project teams to establish training goals. ​

  • Monitoring training enrollments and compliance. ​

  • Reviewing and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the training system.

  • Managing training grants and government training support. ​

  • Defining, developing, and reporting learning and development metrics. ​

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a similar Learning & Development (L\&D) role within a global organisation, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Cornerstone Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cornerstone (iLearn) or similar learning management systems is essential.

  • L\&D Background: Proven ability to develop, deliver, and assess training programs, with a focus on technical, EHS, and GMP training.

  • Skills: Skilled communicator, adaptable, and able to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders.

  • Education: Learning and Development qualification / Certified trainer.

  • Mindset: Passionate about continuous learning, excellence in execution, and driving real impact for patients and society.

Working Arrangement:
This role requires on-site presence at least 4 days per week, with flexibility for remote work as business needs allow.
