Trade Operations Analyst

Job Description
Overview:
An opportunity exists within a research and trading team in HK for a trading desk analyst to take
ownership of operations and to drive efficiency of workflows. Specifically, this role sits in a nimble
team engaged in novel alpha research, with derivatives strategies deployed across multiple APAC
markets. This is a great opportunity for someone with passion for operational excellence to join a
technical, quantitative team at the forefront of semi-systematic trading.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operation of our trading platform, solving problems in a fast-paced, live trading environment

• Partner with engineering and research teams to diagnose and resolve platform issues and drive proactive initiatives

• Drive continual improvement of our world-class trading platform
• Understand and navigate market, regulatory, and operational risks by constructing and executing trading playbooks

• Depending on the experiences and interests of the selected candidate, opportunities exist to grow towards taking further ownership of technical (workflow automation, operation systematization) and/or trading (hedging, trade execution, margin optimization) initiatives & responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Finance, Economics, or similar program from a top institution
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic decision-making ability; able to keep the big picture in mind, making informed and defensible decisions in a fast-paced trading environment

• Prior experience in electronic trading and manual trade booking
• Detail-oriented and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated self-starter, with the drive and can-do attitude to learn new things and push through change to deliver results
• Technical proficiency with Linux and Python
