We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Transformation Management Office (TMO) manager to lead governance, integrated planning, and delivery assurance across a complex, enterprise-wide transformation portfolio. This role will be pivotal in establishing and embedding a scalable TMO structure, ensuring change initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively governed, and value-driven.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in enabling controlled, transparent, and outcome-focused transformation — from digital and cross-functional initiatives to regulatory and strategic change.

Key accountabilities:

Portfolio & Integrated Planning

  • Accountability for the currency and maintenance of the transformation roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment and prioritisation.

  • Lead integrated enterprise planning, tracking dependencies, milestones, and risks

  • Align change priorities with strategic planning cycles (annual/quarterly)

  • Run monthly portfolio reviews with programme and business leads to track spend, progress, benefits, and risks

Risk & Performance Management

  • Oversee the transformation risk and issue framework across all programmes

  • Ensure risk mitigation, escalation, and reporting to steering and executive committees

  • Own performance tracking and KPIs; drive continuous improvement using insights and data

  • Drive post-implementation and quality assurance reviews

Value Realisation & Benefits Tracking

  • Design and embed a benefits realisation framework with measurable value tracking across initiatives

  • Ensure business cases are robust and transformation efforts deliver expected outcomes

  • Support Business case development

Capability & Excellence

  • Build and lead a Centre of Excellence for change delivery, embedding best practices in planning, reporting, assurance, and governance

  • Lead resource and capacity planning to ensure the right capabilities are in place.

  • Externally benchmark change maturity and continuously enhance TMO capabilities

Previous experience:

  • Proven delivery assurance across large, cross-functional transformation programmes

  • Exceptional leadership, influence, and stakeholder management at executive level

  • Expertise in benefits realisation, risk management, and integrated planning

  • Experience working in an agile or hybrid project environment is a plus
