Your Opportunity:
As a Technical Success Manager I (TSM) at New Relic, you will be responsible for fostering technical relationships with customers, serving as their technical advocate, and scaling coverage for our Mid-Market segment. Your role is pivotal in facilitating customer adoption and realising platform value through focused engagement, collaboration, and education.
What You'll Do:
Customer Adoption:
- Drive the technical onboarding process: Guide customers through the integration of New Relic into their environments utilising cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), ensuring they can achieve committed consumption levels independently.
- Conduct training sessions: Empower users by teaching them how New Relic can optimise their application and infrastructure performance across native/multi-cloud setups, using your coding skills to develop educational resources and demonstrations.
Activity Management & Relationship Building:
- Aid in executing Mutual Activity Plans: Provide strategic insights into observability tools and cloud operations to actively monitor progress, helping customers identify growth opportunities and learn to drive progress themselves.
- Alignment with technical stakeholders: Employ your interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer goals, ensuring New Relic adoption aligns with their business initiatives and supports them in utilising the platform efficiently.
Value Communication & Updates:
- Assist in developing business cases: Teach customers how to leverage New Relic’s data capabilities to quantify solution impacts, assisting them in creating regular reports that demonstrate ROI and advocate for platform expansion.
- Keep users updated: Inform and train users on New Relic’s latest features, reinforcing ongoing proficiency so they are equipped to continuously adapt and utilise the platform’s offerings.
This Role Requires:
Technical Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is essential for guiding customers in deploying and managing their applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Node.js, Python, or SQL scripting is beneficial for teaching integration and optimisation techniques.
Experience & Communication Skills:
- Experience in customer-facing roles within the SaaS or tech sectors, with an emphasis on clear communication and the ability to educate and empower customers.
Solution-Oriented & Collaborative Approach:
- Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and customer success.
- Ability to collaborate across teams; proficiency in a European language is advantageous for EMEA customer collaboration.
