We’re hiring a Technical SEO Manager to work from our office in Dublin.

Role Purpose 

This person will be responsible for working with the SEO account teams in planning and delivering Technical SEO strategies for various global clients, as well as helping to drive Technical SEO expertise across the wider SEO team

 

Key responsibilities:

CLIENT DELIVERY 

  • Act as the Technical SEO lead on SEO accounts, guiding the technical strategy creation, timelines and delivery of recommendations 
  • Oversee and lead the implementation of technical SEO recommendations as well as provide clients with consultancy throughout 
  • Supporting the SEO account teams, building the relationships with client stakeholders (across SEO and technical) 
  • Contribute to wider SEO strategy, tactics, reporting and meetings where relevant 
  • Contribute to new business pitches and our go to market strategy for SEO 

PRODUCT 

  • Contribute to team growth by sharing expertise, perspectives, and examples of exceptional deliverables as well as processes 
  • Help with running training sessions for the Technical SEO and wider SEO teams 
  • Working with directors to help with pitches and new business 

Skills/Qualifications 

We are keen to meet anyone who is comfortable with most of the below and are flexible if you have strengths or weaknesses in particular areas. The role comes with comprehensive training and a supportive wider team.  

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written 
  • Able to confidently explain various aspects of Technical SEO to both internal teams and with clients 
  • Owns relationship with counterparts in other departments and experienced in working on cross channel products 
  • Proven ability to delegate tasks accurately and effectively to other team members 

TECHNICAL SEO  

  • Thorough understanding of how Technical SEO impacts performance, able to confidently talk through every relevant aspect including but limited to: 
  • International SEO and Hreflang 
  • Website Migrations 
  • Technical SEO Auditing 
  • SEO Processes and Scaling Globally 
  • Googlebot Indexing and Rendering  
  • Core Web Vitals 
  • Top-level understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript 

PLATFORM  

  • Thorough understanding of client-side web development and top-level understanding of server-side processes  
  • Able to confidently discuss common technology stacks behind websites and make recommendations around infrastructure relating to SEO 
  • Experience across various CMS and e-comm platforms, including headless systems 

TOOLS  

  • Strong understanding of Google Search Console, and other Google Tools such as Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse and Schema Testing Tool 
  • Hands-on experience with SEO crawling tools, in particular Screaming Frog and DeepCrawl 
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics or other analytics packages
