A Day in the Life
Healthcare is changing. Our innovative products and services enable earlier disease diagnosis, safer treatment, faster recovery, and improved patient outcomes. This is however only a part of the innovation need.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pain Therapies team as a Technical Consultant supporting the territory across Ireland, helping to ensure optimum therapy outcomes for patients.
If you are proactive with the positive, can-do mindset and a self-starter who is eager to develop their career and clinical expertise with Medtronic this role is for you.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: 

  • Manage customer and patient interactions with Medtronic devices

  • Provide technical support in the operating theatre and patient clinics

  • Perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues in key accounts

  • Effectively collaborate with sales, clinical and engineer teams to ensure best use and practices of our devices within key accounts

  • Ensure own competitor knowledge remains up to date along with the ability to promote Medtronic products in line with clinician and service needs

  • Provide data in line with the weekly business demands

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Degree in Bio-Science, Radiography, Life-science, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree (preferably in Neuroscience) preferred

  • Healthcare related experience with a commercial mindset

  • Experience in clinical or technical interaction with healthcare professionals and patient

  • Excellent communication and Influencing skills

  • Driving licence
