The Business Analyst will join our customer's Program Management Office to support the Starlink connectivity project team. This role focuses on gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements that enable the successful deployment and operation of in-flight connectivity systems across our customer's fleet. The successful candidate will ensure customer experience enhancements and identify opportunities to generate revenue through connectivity-driven retailing, advertising and digital engagement initiatives. 

Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office three times per week.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology, telecoms or connectivity projects 
  • Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment 
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and project management methodologies (Agile preferred) 
  • Experience or knowledge of customer experience principles, customer insights and understanding customer journeys
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Customer-centric mindset with focus on delivering value
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing change
  • Strategic thinking combined with execution capability

Key responsibilities & duties include:

  • Collaborate with Starlink project stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business requirements for connectivity systems
  • Translate connectivity-related business needs into functional specifications for engineering and technology teams
  • Work closely with Product Managers, developers and UX teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented
  • Analyse our customer's current connectivity capabilities and identify gaps for Starlink integration
  • Support the development of customer-facing features that enhance the in-flight connectivity experience and enable retailing and advertising models
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to validate requirements and prioritise connectivity initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent management and security standards in all connectivity requirements
  • Contribute to testing and validation of delivered connectivity solutions against documented requirements
  • Prepare clear documentation for governance and reporting purposes

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in airline, travel, or connectivity projects.
  • Knowledge of customer experience design and digital retailing strategies.
  • Familiarity with advertising models and monetization in connectivity platforms.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and consent management.
  • Optional: Experience or knowledge of telecoms, satellite systems, and network engineering to support connectivity-related initiatives.
