Technical Account Manager – MSP - Dublin Salary €60,000 basic + bonus.

If you know how to build strong MSP client relationships, understand the technology behind the service, and can confidently sit across the table from business owners and senior decision-makers, this could be a perfect next move.

Stack & Co is working with a Dublin-based Managed Services Provider looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of business clients.

MSP TAM experience is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who already understands how an MSP operates, how technical services are delivered to clients and what it takes to manage those relationships successfully.

The Role

This is a broad client-facing position combining relationship management, technical understanding, service delivery and longer-term IT planning.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of business clients and developing strong long-term relationships

• Running regular client meetings and making sure agreed actions are followed through

• Understanding each client’s business, IT environment, priorities and future requirements

• Spotting technical risks, service problems and areas where the client’s IT could be improved

• Working closely with technical support, infrastructure and project teams

• Keeping clients properly informed around important technical or service issues

• Discussing future IT requirements, improvements and technology investment with clients

• Managing expectations and making sure commitments are realistic and delivered

• Supporting client retention and contract renewals

• Recognising opportunities where additional IT services or solutions would genuinely benefit the client

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

You may currently be working as a Technical Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Customer Success Manager or in a similar client-facing position within an MSP.

To be considered, you should have:

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a client-facing IT services role

• Recent experience working directly for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)

• Experience managing relationships with business owners, directors, IT Managers or other senior stakeholders

• A good working understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure and IT support

• The ability to discuss technical issues with engineers and then explain them clearly to non-technical clients

• Experience running client meetings and coordinating work across different technical teams

• Strong communication, organisation and relationship management skills

• Good commercial awareness and an understanding of client retention and account development

This is not a general sales or SaaS Customer Success position. You need genuine experience working with business clients in an MSP environment.

Equally, you do not need to be a hands-on engineer.

You need enough technical knowledge to understand what is happening within a client environment, ask sensible questions, identify potential risks and have credible conversations with technical teams and senior client stakeholders.

Benefits

If you enjoy the combination of technology, client relationships and taking ownership of the overall customer experience, this is a strong opportunity to move into an important role within a Dublin MSP.

The client is an established MSP with an excellent client base who are beginning a new strategic growth phase.

If you have the required local market MSP TAM experience, please apply today.

Note: There is absolutely no visa sponsorship either now or in the future for this role. You must already be legal to work in Ireland and not require future visa sponsorship.
