We’re looking for a seasoned hospitality professional and passionate beer advocate to take the lead in day-to-day operations at GOGB, our flagship home for craft and culture in Dublin.
As Team lead, you’ll help shape a vibrant, welcoming environment that embodies the spirit of Diageo - where every guest leaves inspired by our beer, our people, and our purpose.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager to deliver operational excellence, elevate guest experiences, and lead a high-performing team that takes pride in every pour and every interaction. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an ambitious individual ready to make a meaningful impact within the beer and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the taproom, ensuring seamless service, stock management, event execution, and compliance with all operational standards.
- People Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop a team of bar and service staff - fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and exceptional hospitality.
- Guest Experience Excellence: Set and uphold the highest standards of service and engagement, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable, beer-focused experience that reflects our brand values.
- Commercial Performance: Drive sales and per capita spend through smart operational decisions, upselling, and innovative guest engagement.
- Beer Expertise: Partner with our brewery team and guest brewers to manage beer rotations, maintain product quality, and champion beer education among staff and guests.
- Event Delivery: Coordinate and execute consumer, corporate, and brand events that celebrate beer culture and bring our community together.
- Culture & Brand Ambassadorship: Lead by example in creating a warm, inclusive, and distinctly Guinness atmosphere - here beer, hospitality, and storytelling come together.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Diageo and statutory Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Environmental standards.
