As a Tax Operations Analyst within our Tax Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing processes related to the withholding and reporting of taxes for our private banking clients across EMEA jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Italian taxation. You will ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax reporting and filing processes. You are an ideal candidate if you have a basic understanding of Italian and European withholding and reporting principles, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day tax operations related to withholding taxes for private banking clients, ensuring compliance with Italian tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review reports and filings for withholding taxes, focusing on Italian-specific requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance for client accounts.
- Monitor changes in Italian tax legislation and assess their impact on the bank's operations and client portfolios.
- Provide support on withholding and reporting tax matters to internal stakeholders, including client relationship managers and legal teams.
- Leverage technology and data analytics tools to enhance tax reporting and compliance processes for client accounts.
- Participate in the development and implementation of technology-driven solutions to streamline tax operations.
- Support the Tax Operations Manager in various projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- First experience in tax operations.
- Basic knowledge of Italian taxation, including withholding regimes (gestito, amministrato, ordinario), indirect taxation principles (Imposta di bollo), and tax reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and independently with cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in tax software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience within a private bank or financial institution.
- Master's degree or professional tax qualification.
- Proficiency in Italian, French, German, or Spanish.
- Experience with technology-driven solutions and product management in tax operations.
- Knowledge of European tax regulations (other EMEA jurisdictions, CRS/FATCA preferred).
