Make an impact at the heart of CarTrawler’s Finance & Legal function, supporting global tax compliance and contributing to some of the most exciting strategic initiatives across the business. Joining on an initial 9-month contract, you’ll gain exposure across all tax heads, international tax considerations, cross-functional projects and high-growth market expansion experience that will position you strongly as the team continues to evolve. From US sales tax implementation to DAC7 reporting and M&A activity, you’ll help deliver best-in-class compliance while shaping how CarTrawler scales internationally. What you’ll do as a Tax Analyst
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments across all tax heads .
- Oversee transfer pricing requirements, maintaining documentation, monitoring intercompany charges and coordinating external reviews.
- Partner with external tax advisors by providing required information, reviewing draft computations and ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Support high-impact strategic projects including US sales tax expansion, DAC7 implementation, R&D tax credit documentation and M&A due diligence.
- Conduct technical tax research and prepare clear internal memos on legislative changes, risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Product & Technology, Commercial and other teams to embed tax considerations in business decisions and communicate updates effectively .
What you’ll bring to the team
- Qualification (or part-qualification) in tax with broad exposure across multiple tax heads and a proactive, curious approach to developing expertise.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and translate tax requirements for non-tax stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and sound commercial judgement to assess the tax impact of business decisions.
- Experience managing or contributing to cross-functional projects, ideally within travel, technology or professional services environments.
- A positive, team-focused mindset that aligns with CarTrawler’s culture and social and environmental commitments.
