Job Summary:

The Tax Analyst will become a core member of the Group Tax team in Ireland, supporting the Regional Tax Manager with direct and indirect tax compliance. Working with the wider Finance team, the Tax Analyst will also be involved in developing strategic initiatives as well as international tax planning and various ad-hoc projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support tax compliance processes across all tax heads
Assist with the implementation of transfer pricing policies across a number of related party transactions
Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A and Treasury teams in relation to tax entries and payments
Liaise with and manage the work performed by external advisors
Communicate tax technical matters effectively in a clear manner
Act as a primary tax contact for various departments within the business
Leverage tax technology at every opportunity to develop / improve key processes
Assist with the management of permanent establishment risks throughout the business

Key Interactions:

Cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective implementation of internal policies and procedures on tax matters
Assisting the wider Finance team with implementation of tax entries relating to transfer pricing arrangements

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar field
ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CTA qualified
Minimum of 4 years of tax related work experience in a public accounting firm and/or large multinational corporation. Big four experience is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong team player able to work collaboratively with other Tax and Finance teams 
Willing to learn and provide support on tax matters
Skilled with tax technology including but not limited to automation of processes either via Excel, Alteryx or other automation tools
Systems experience with SAP, Blackline or other ERP systems desirable
