Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Senior Manager HR EMEA – Talent Acquisition & Projects

Location: Ireland

Contract: Fixed Contract until October 2025

Overview:

Supporting our Senior Leadership team in sourcing, screening and appointing the right talent for our business, the role of Talent Acquisition Partner acts as the first point of contact for future Team Schein Members (TSMs) and leads their journey from acquisition through to onboarding into our organisation.  The role will focus predominantly on delivering end to end sourcing and onboarding processes for our Digital Centre of Excellence in Ireland but will support across the EMEA region. Regional experience and knowledge of talent acquisition markets and legislation is required, as well as the ability to work in a fast-pace environment managing multiple roles and stakeholders at all levels to provide an exemplary service and the appointment of high-level talent.

Job Responsibilities:

The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

  • Utilise recruitment tool kit and resources to support recruiting managers through the process of attracting, screening and offering talent, minimising agency placement spend and maximising direct hire techniques through knowledge and experience of contemporary sourcing channels, where possible.
  • Provide a candidate first experience for all applicants, aligning our talent acquisition approach to Henry Schein’s TSM Experience values.
  • Fully lead on the review and screening of applications and resumes and uphold our established recruitment processes, including all necessary administration and interview support, with the appropriate hiring managers.
  • Maintain and leverage relationships with external sources, i.e. recruitment agencies, peer organisations or third-party experts to acknowledge any trends in recruitment and markets which could impact upon the business to inform Henry Schein’s talent acquisition approach and deploy these accordingly.
  • Provide insightful guidance and analytics to the hiring managers and the HR Team throughout the sourcing process to inform the talent acquisition approach and advise on next-best-action to attain the right level of candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and pre-employment testing, where appropriate
  • Maintain expertise in relevant employment regulation including right to work and contract requirements across recruiting region, whilst working in conjunction with local HR partnering support.
  • Complete all offer to onboarding process steps, including offers of employment and contractual requirements in conjunction with support from local HR partners, to concierge the candidate into Team Schein.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as requested.

Job Skills & Experience Required:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:

Qualifications:

  • Good level of secondary education
  • CIPD or equivalent industry accreditation desirable
  • Accredited certificates in MS Office applications desirable

Required Training or Qualifications:

  • Henry Schein suite of compliance training upon commencement of role

Skill & Experience:

  • Extensive, proven experience with recruitment processes and onboarding practice
  • Can demonstrate experience operating as an autonomous Talent Acquisition lead in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working in an in-house Recruitment Team preferred but Agency Recruitment or consultancy background also relevant
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders quickly and effectively
  • An excellent time manager, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Experience communicating and influencing individuals at all organisational levels
  • Adept at working alone or in a small team and handling a variety of changeable activities dependent on business need
  • Ability to present insights and guidance factually, confidently and clearly to influence approach
  • Experience working with Workday Recruiter desirable not a requirement, however, must be used to working with comparable ATS platforms.
