Job Description:
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Senior Lead for BDS, you will be responsible for leading a team of SREs and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our company's IT systems. You will work closely with the software engineering team and the operations team to design, build, and maintain the systems and tools required to support our infrastructure and business applications. The ideal professional will have experience in leading teams and designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable IT systems from infrastructure and applications perspectives.
What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management or equivalent
-
5+ years of experience in IT departments with significant time spent in Site Resilience Eng roles.

Proven track record of ensuring reliability and availability of systems, collaboration with monitoring, alerting teams and other EDS teams

2+ years of experience in a lead or management role

Experience with automation, monitoring, alerting, scheduling processes and tools

Strong knowledge on GDO processes and teams to facilitate integration with programs
-
Experience with complex implementation projects and transforming business at scale and speed.

Experience on provide solutions for IT processes in where standards processes do not apply or fulfill requirements
What will be your key responsibilities?

Lead a team of SREs responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable systems, covering infrastructure and applications layers.

Conduct solution design integrating the teams to ensure the solution and product leverage.

Providing technical guidance and mentorship and collaborating with other teams to promote a culture of reliability and operational excellence.

Ensure the reliability and availability of our systems collaborating with monitoring, alerting teams to drive fault-tolerant design.

Collaborate with software engineers to ensure that our infrastructure can meet the needs of our applications.

Define and implement SRE processes and best practices across EDS and BDS orgs, inside GDO.
