About the role
As our Supply Chain Manager, you will play a strategic and hands-on leadership role in optimising end-to-end supply chain operations. You will drive process improvement, build and lead a high-performing team, and partner cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class customer experience, cost efficiency, and compliance. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will own all aspects of supply chain performance from Project management, logistics through to inventory management, supplier relationships, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, setting clear objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies, aligning with business goals to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Oversee procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, and transportation activities in partnership with suppliers, LSPs, and 3PLs.
Analyse, design, and implement process improvements across the supply chain to drive operational excellence, root cause resolution, and sustainable cost reductions.
Set KPIs and metrics, analyse supply chain performance data, and deliver regular reports and actionable insights to leadership.
Manage risk and ensure business continuity by developing contingency plans for supply disruptions and capacity constraints.
Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.
Support new product introductions (NPIs) by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and seamless integration into existing processes.
Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations, trade compliance, and corporate policies.
Oversee accurate and timely processing of logistics transactions, POs, and EDI interfaces via SAP/S4 and related systems.
Manage relationships with external partners (suppliers, 3PLs, logistics providers), conducting regular business reviews and negotiating service agreements.
Maintain oversight of inventory health, including inventory cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and optimisation of stock levels across multiple locations.
Foster strong internal stakeholder relationships to proactively support business priorities and resolve escalations.
About you
To thrive in this role, you will possess:
Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in supply chain or logistics management roles with team leadership exposure, preferably in a global context.
Proven record of driving process improvements, cost savings, and strategic supply chain initiatives.
Strong understanding of supply chain management across procurement, planning, logistics, and trade compliance.
Deep expertise in supply chain systems, including SAP/S4, WMS, TMS, and EDI interfaces.
Hands-on experience managing 3PLs, warehouse operations, and transport providers.
Solid grasp of import/export procedures and international supply chain regulations.
Advanced analytical skills; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, data analytics) and report generation.
Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation.
A continuous improvement mindset with exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient leader with a strong sense of ownership.
