This vacancy is based at our European Divisional Support Centre (EDSC) in Irvine, Ayrshire.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Located at the European Divisional Support Centre in Irvine, Ayrshire, this 12-to-15-month placement will report to key member of the European Materials Planning Team.  The successful applicants will work in a team responsible for providing the following key responsibilities: 

  • Updating the Material Planning systems with Suppliers and Logistics provider information.

  • Support the Supply Manager with Analytical reporting.

  • Participate in weekly team meetings and learn to work as part of the team.

  • Manage several Vendor Accounts where you will learn and develop system, interpersonal & communication skills.

  • Purchase Order management, with global supply base, to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Support the Team in meeting key performance metrics for Supplier Quality, Delivery and invoice accuracy.

  • Assist Material Planners to manage Suppliers Accounts.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Candidates should be working towards a degree in Commercial or Business Studies related courses.

  • Candidates must have good customer focused skills, to enable them to correspond effectively with suppliers and internal contacts.

  • Candidates should be able to work enthusiastically and efficiently within a team.

  • We reserve the right to enhance shortlisting criteria as necessary.
     

The successful candidates will be subject to background checks.
