Supervising pharmacist

We are currently seeking to recruit a Supervising Pharmacist on a Fixed Term Contract basis for our Allcare store in Glin, Limerick

This is a 40 hour position with the stores opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

• We will reimburse PSI fees annually as well as funding vaccinations training.

• A Pension Scheme is offered with a company contribution of up to 7% of the annual salary.(subject to completing probation)

• Holidays begin at 8% of hours worked p.a., with amount of days increasing with tenure

• SVP KPI based bonus once a quarter 

• CPD hours allowance annually– 10 hours

• Premium Rate on Sunday Shifts (1.5 x Normal Rate)

The successful candidate must also demonstrate excellence and be responsible for:

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the dispensary

• Take final responsibility within the store for Stock Management specifically relating to, purchasing, ordering, stock management, merchandising, date checking and stocktaking

• Take final responsibility for ensuring controlled drugs regulations are strictly adhered to

• Take final responsibility for Pharmacy Presentation Standards

• Drive business within the dispensary and store

• Pro-actively drive excellence in customer service throughout the store at all times

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland

• Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage but full training will be given to those coming from other backgrounds

• Proven people management

• Must be capable of working on own initiative

• Ability to communicate and get along with a variety of different personalities

• Highly organised, excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability to work on multiple tasks accurately in a busy environment

• Have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
