Strategy & Operations Manager

About the role
We are seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to play a central role in shaping and executing our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. You will be accountable for driving clarity, pace, and accountability across how we plan and deliver against our growth objectives.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
Strategy
Business strategy
Support the business strategy development process.
Support the development and execution of functional strategies to deliver the overall business & commercial strategy.
Go-to-market strategy
Partner with sales, marketing, customer and product teams to shape and develop Datalex’s go-to-market strategy.
Identify new market opportunities, analyse competitive landscapes, and prioritise customer segments to drive growth.
Drive the execution of this GTM strategy by translating and operationalising this strategy into strategic initiatives.
Partner with sales, marketing, product and customer teams to ensure we are delivering against our GTM strategic objectives.
Marketing strategy
Develop a marketing strategy that underpins our GTM strategy.
Partner with the marketing team to ensuring consistent messaging across all materials and campaigns.
Partner with the product team to build product marketing collateral that supports our GTM strategy.
Partner with our customer team to drive customer advocacy through case studies and success stories.
Operations
Sales & revenue operations
Analyse pipeline health, funnel conversion, and campaign ROI to provide actionable insights.
Analyse sales targets and opportunities and support the development of winning sales pitches and commercial proposals.
Support the customer team with identifying and winning upsell opportunities.
Optimise sales processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
Support the sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking, and analytics.
Ensure RFP Q&A’s and procurement tool templates are up to date and maintained.
Prepare content for executive presentations and board reports.
Manage and monitor sales data in HubSpot, with responsibility for all sales tools (HubSpot, SharePoint).
Refine customer segmentation and support territory management.
Maintain proposal and contract records.
Attend international travel industry conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings as required.
Growth / business operations
Develop internal communications and updates to ensure organisational alignment on goals and priorities.
Track our internal performance of key strategic business priorities
Lead monthly operations meetings with the Datalex leadership team to monitor performance versus plan. Where challenges arise, partner with priority leads to identify action plans to bring these initiatives back on track.
Optimise business and growth processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
