We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (.NET) who can operate at the intersection of deep technical expertise and broad organisational influence.
This role is for an engineer who shapes systems and teams — someone who identifies the most important problems, drives cross-functional solutions, and makes everyone around them more effective.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives across systems and teams
  • Define and drive technical standards, patterns, and best practices across engineering
  • Own the long-term health of critical systems, including performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Partner with senior leadership, product, and platform teams to align technical direction with business goals
  • Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through design reviews, pairing, and direct feedback
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation that enables faster, better decisions at scale
  • Proactively identify and address systemic risks, technical debt, and architectural gaps

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep, proven expertise with production .NET / C# systems at scale
  • Track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives from ambiguity to delivery
  • Strong architectural instincts and the ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly to both engineers and non-engineers
  • Multiplier mindset — someone who makes the engineers around them more effective
  • Exceptional judgment on when to move fast and when to slow down and get it right
  • The ability to drive alignment across teams and functions without formal authority
  • High bar for quality, ownership, and accountability — not just for your own work, but for the team's
