Staff Auditor

What does a successful Staff Auditor do at Fiserv?

As a member of Fiserv’s Corporate Assurance and Advisory Services (CAAS) Department, you will play a key role in conducting audits within the highly regulated payments and card industry. You will bring a systematic approach to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of Fiserv’s governance, risk management, and internal control environment by performing independent evaluations of our operations.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the audit planning process under the guidance of the Audit Lead. Execute fieldwork that includes scheduling interviews and walkthroughs, reviewing materials, and designing and executing audit testing.
  • Analyze results and draw conclusions using the CAAS Audit methodology and standards within scheduled timelines.
  • Contribute to the preparation of draft and final audit reports, summarizing issues identified during audits.
  • Participate in a variety of audits focusing on operational and compliance aspects under various financial or information security/cyber security regulations.

What you will need to have:

  • Knowledge of internal audit and control principles with experience in disciplines such as Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Finance or Accounting, IT Security, Regulatory Compliance, or Risk Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing risk-based audits and completing workflow and related control assessments.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, along with strong interpersonal relationships and outstanding communication abilities (written, oral, and listening).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience in data collection, classification, and analysis. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as SAS Software, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CFE, or CISA are desirable but not essential. Working knowledge of frameworks such as FASB, COSO, FFIEC, NIST, or PCI.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Internal Audit Methodology and IIA standards effective Experience applying Internal Auditing principles and methodology in a risk-based environment across various audit areas with varying complexity.
