Sr Tax Associate

About the role:

As a Senior Tax Associate in GTBS you will be responsible for international tax reporting and tax risk. A successful candidate for this role will embrace a mindset of continuous improvement through leveraging best-in-class processes and technologies to deliver on their objectives. They will also foster a spirit of collaboration and professionalism in their interactions with various interdepartmental partners such as Legal, Treasury, Finance, and Commercial colleagues.

What you’ll do: 

• Responsible for preparation of consolidated international tax provision for US GAAP reporting purposes inclusive of collaboration with a wider tax team.
• Responsible for preparation of international statutory reporting and tax compliance
• Liaise with 3rd parties and tax authorities on behalf of Gartner
• Support team in all aspects of the function including project management, idea generation, process improvements and implementation.  

What you’ll need: 

• Registered Chartered Tax Consultant (CTA)
• 2+ years of PQE in a corporate tax team in an accounting firm or a multinational company.  
• Experience in working on international tax provisioning/reporting and/or compliance preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information 
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion or similar ERP/ EPM
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office.
• Familiarity with a tax provision/ return software preferred.
