You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

How you will contribute
Working with key stakeholders, you will define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of small to mid range capital investment projects so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided. You will develop the capital budget for infrastructure, productivity, growth and sustainability initiatives, according to the contract and forecast cash flow.
In addition, you will ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, as well as develop and implement state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.
You are responsible for managing several capital project executions in parallel and accountable that the quality and the results of capital projects meet Mondelēz standards in business and innovation processes in project management. You manage engineering resources and people management and development needs.
You will work alongside cross functional project teams to manage the detailed planning, technical development, and execution of capital projects, including identifying capital and capital related expenses, optimizing layouts, conducting equipment selections, bidding, factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests, to deliver equipment designs according to Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) requirements (AM Step 3, PM Step 2), simultaneously tracking cashflow phasing, mitigating risks and maintaining timelines, while meeting the highest levels of quality, safety, service, environmental and regulatory requirements. You will manage communications and project governances within Integrated Supply Change (ISC) and key stakeholders.

Job specific requirements:
- 5+ years project management experience is required on small to medium scale CAPEX projects.
- Experience leading and leveraging cross functional project teams to drive project outcomes is essential.
- Demonstrated success in the project management execution.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and situational changes.
Travel requirements:
- Infrequent travel as required (e.g. for vendor site visits)
Work schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, reporting to the East York Bakery facility, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Occasional flexibility in work times may be required (e.g. interacting with OEMs in different time zones, supervising of off shift/weekend/holiday installations)
