Join our team as a Senior Frontend Engineer where you'll play a pivotal role in building new features and delivering high-quality code. As a senior frontend engineer in our customer-oriented group, you will design and build UIs and visualisations in an intuitive, relatable manner. You will work alongside accomplished engineers, researchers, designers, and product managers who will help take your impact to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Genesys, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing robust, testable software to implement key features.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and other technical issues.
- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues promptly.
- Ensuring and monitoring application stability.
Minimum Requirements:
We're looking for candidates who possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong experience with a modern web application frameworks - React.
- Experience with Typescript and modern ECMAScript.
- Sass
- Comprehensive testing experience (Jest, Vitest, Playwright)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with state management
- Implementation of accessibility standards and testing techniques
- Experience with Node.js and the AWS ecosystem
- Continuous integration/delivery practices.
