Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Director of Product Marketing to lead strategy and execution for PSA’s Marketplace business.

This role owns how marketplace products and experiences are positioned, brought to market, and scaled—driving awareness, consideration, acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization, with direct impact on marketplace growth and GMV. The Sr. Director serves as the connective layer across Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and external partners to ensure a cohesive, high-performing marketplace experience.

This leader operates at both strategic and executional altitude—shaping the roadmap through market insight while driving disciplined go-to-market and lifecycle performance grounded in marketplace economics and aligned with EBITDA and long-term value creation. The role is critical to establishing Marketplace as a scaled, durable growth engine for the company.

What You'll Do

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

  • Own end-to-end product marketing strategy across PSA Marketplace, including Vault, Partner Offers, PSA Store on eBay, and strategic partner programs

  • Lead go-to-market planning for new products, features, and marketplace expansions

  • Define and formalize target segments and audience frameworks, and drive awareness, consideration, acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies

  • Drive integrated campaign strategy across digital, CRM, partnerships, events, and social channels to build awareness, consideration, and conversion

Marketplace Strategy, Supply & Product Influence

  • Translate market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive insights into marketplace strategy and GTM priorities

  • Lead the development and formalization of audience segmentation and frameworks, translating customer insights into clear growth opportunities, product priorities, and lifecycle strategies

  • Partner with Product and Business leaders to inform roadmap prioritization and focus on highest-impact growth opportunities

  • Drive supply growth by shaping seller acquisition, onboarding, and inventory expansion strategies across dealers, partners, and collectors

  • Shape pricing, incentives, and marketplace mechanics to optimize liquidity, supply-demand balance, and transaction velocity
Ensure alignment between product experience, GTM strategy, and business objectives across the full funnel

Customer Experience (CX)

  • Champion the end-to-end marketplace experience across buying, selling, vaulting, and post-transaction engagement

  • Identify friction points across the funnel and partner cross-functionally to improve conversion, trust, transparency, and retention

  • Partner to improve seller and dealer experience, including onboarding, listing, pricing, and transaction workflows

Performance, Economics & Measurement

  • Establish and manage full-funnel KPIs across awareness, consideration, acquisition, conversion, retention, and LTV

  • Apply a lifecycle and lifetime value lens to prioritize initiatives and balance growth with marketplace economics and profitability

  • Drive continuous optimization through testing, experimentation, and performance insights

  • Partner with Finance and Analytics to ensure marketing investment is disciplined, measurable, and aligned with EBITDA objectives and business priorities

Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth

  • Lead strategic GTM for key marketplace partnerships, including eBay and GameStop

  • Identify and develop new partnerships that expand distribution, supply, and demand

  • Partner with Communications on creator and influencer engagement tied to marketplace growth

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team focused on Marketplace

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Marketplace Product and Business leadership

  • Partner cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, Operations, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Communications

  • Partner with Grading Product Marketing to ensure marketplace and grading strategies are aligned and mutually reinforcing

  • Elevate organizational understanding of marketplace dynamics, customer behavior, and growth levers

Who You Are:
  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, marketplace, or category leadership roles

  • 8–10+ years of people management experience, building and leading high-performing teams

  • Deep experience in marketplace, e-commerce, fintech, or two-sided platform environments

  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, lifetime value, and marketplace economics

  • Proven track record of scaling products or platforms across awareness, acquisition, engagement, and monetization

  • Experience influencing product strategy and roadmap prioritization in complex organizations

  • Data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into action and drive measurable outcomes

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-scaling environments

  • Exposure to high-growth, late-stage, or IPO-adjacent environments preferred
