As a Senior Content Designer, you will be responsible for crafting impactful content as part of the product experience. It may include, but is not limited to, user interface content, in-product learning, online help, and product updates.
A content designer works as an integral part of product teams to co-design exceptional customer experiences and in-product learning. In addition to hands-on content creation, a content designer also acts as an advisor to other team members creating product content and contributes to content standards across all Autodesk products.
You will work closely with product teams in Oslo, Norway. In addition to having close collaboration with designers and product teams in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

Distill complex subject matter into clear content.

Research, design, and develop content as part of an integrated product experience, following existing content strategies and standards. This includes user interface content, in-product learning, and online help.

Work within product and growth teams to find ways to drive adoption of features, workflows, and the product in general. Actively influence the design, through daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, review meetings, and so on.

Empower product teams to create content as part of their product delivery (for example, Help articles and product updates) through training sessions, editorial and design advice, templates, and best practices.

Design, develop, and measure learning and engagement content through Intercom, a third-party engagement platform.

Drive strategic direction and a cohesive vision in onboarding and tactical learning content.

Create and advocate content guidelines and contribute to a content design system.

Participate in feature naming processes.

Help ensure consistent use of terminology and patterns internally, between Autodesk products and with third party products.

Contribute to building glossaries to keep terminology aligned across products.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience crafting product content or user experience design
-
An inexhaustible eye for detail, both in terms of text and the design of the overall user journey

Experience contributing to and creating content design standards and best practices

Experience in SaaS products

Bachelor’s degree in English, user experience design, or other related area
Preferred qualifications

Experience in UX design
-
Experience using Figma and third-party engagement platforms such as AppCues, Intercom, Pendo, etc.

Experience working at an enterprise software company that is building SaaS products
-
Interest in architecture and urban design

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
