Sr Adv Embedded Engineer
🔹 Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr Adv Embedded Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of embedded software systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to guide teams in building high-quality, scalable, and reliable embedded solutions.
Responsibilities🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded software systems
- Provide hands-on guidance to engineering teams
- Drive technical decision-making and trade-offs
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality
- Define system architecture and software frameworks
- Ensure systems meet real-time, safety, and reliability requirements
- Create design documentation and technical specifications
- Implement scalable and reusable software components
- Should understand system engineering, standards and certification, including DO-178B/C, ARP4754
- Hands-on experience in system & software level testing, integration or sub-system benches
- Knowledge of any configuration management system (such as Dimensions, DOORS, BitBucket, SVN, etc.) would be an added advantage.
- Experience working in life cycle stages of systems Life cycle & AGILE exposure.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
- Experience in RTOS (RMA or ARINC 653) and single or multicore DEOS.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with: Hardware engineering teams, System architects, Product management and QA and validation teams
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Lead and mentor embedded engineers and junior developers
- Support team in problem-solving and technical challenges
- Promote engineering excellence and continuous learning
- Lead root cause analysis for complex system issues
- Debug across hardware-software boundaries
- Support field issues and critical escalations
- Own end-to-end delivery of embedded components
- Ensure projects meet quality, timelines, and performance goals
- Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies
🔹 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- 8–15+ years of experience in embedded systems development
- Strong expertise in:
- C/C++ programming
- Embedded Linux / RTOS
- Device drivers and hardware interfaces.
- Experience with debugging tools and Solid understanding of computer architecture and low-level design
