Job Summary

- Automate data management tasks and streamline processes using advanced SQL techniques.
- Ensure the security and integrity of databases, including access controls and backups.
- Work closely with application developers and business analysts to support system requirements.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Provide technical support for database-related queries and reports.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL development and database management.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database systems (e.g. SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL).
- Strong experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and normalization principles.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
Role-specific Requirements
- Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for database deployment.
- Strong ability to document processes, workflows, and database structures
