Job Description:

About the Role

The Sales Operations Specialist is part of IMAX’s global Sales and Corporate Development organization with a focus on business reporting, sales materials management, and cross-functional coordination. This role supports operational projects and initiatives that improve sales processes, tools, and communication to enable IMAX’s global revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

Insights & Reporting

  • Assist in sales reporting and deals system management to track global sales pipeline and deals signing.

  • Maintain global sales shared drive, documentation, and prepare recurring sales reports (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly).

  • Assist in tracking sales expenses and compiling quarterly overviews.

Sales and Client Support

  • Assist in creating and updating global sales presentations and materials.

  • Support regional Sales VPs in inbound client inquiries and requests.

  • Compile and maintain marketing assets and resources.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Installations, and Marketing to enable sales growth.

  • Assist in sales events planning and logistics coordination.

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to support sales data analysis and strategy building.

  • Leverage Gen AI tools to compile and present insights that enable business growth or improve process efficiency.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales operations, business development, or business and strategic planning preferred.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Clear communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally with global teams.

  • Strong interest in data analysis, forecasting, and operational problem-solving.

  • Comfortable working with data in Excel and learning new systems and tools.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with or interest in Generative AI tools for template building, data analysis or process optimization.

  • Second language proficiency in a European or Asian language is valuable but not required.
