Project Objectives: The client is undergoing a major digital transformation, requiring the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and innovative IT solutions. This role is crucial in shaping the technological direction of the company's fintech products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive technical architecture and system designs for complex fintech solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues and find optimal solutions for each problem, demonstrating flexibility in implementing new functionalities
- Leverage knowledge of various Banking and Fintech domains to inform architectural decisions
- Apply expertise in convergent billing solutions to design integrated financial systems
- Lead in Business Architecting and designing IT solutions with focus on Enterprise Integrations, Legacy modernization, Fintech, Banking, DevOps Systems, and Fraud Management
- Design, develop, and integrate systems, interfaces, and platforms
- Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to create complex solutions
- Develop technical requirements and tasks for IT engineers
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing technical and business feedback
- Ensure the technical aspects of partner integrations (new and ongoing) by providing documentation and technical guidance
- Analyze current trends in technology architecture and provide recommendations
- Evaluate applications, systems, and platforms for compliance with enterprise and business standards
- Determine the viability of architecture related to organizational change
- Identify key barriers/core problems and apply creative problem-solving skills to address complex situations
- Occasionally Support Business Analysts by reviewing Epics and User Stories for technical feasibility and architectural alignment
- Assist in refining business requirements and translating them into high-level technical solutions
- Provide input during requirement discovery and grooming sessions, ensuring completeness and consistency from a system design perspective
- Contribute to backlog refinement by identifying technical dependencies and system impacts
- Help bridge communication between business and engineering teams to ensure mutual understanding of scope and constraints
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in solution architecture, preferably in the fintech or banking sector
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of banking and fintech systems, including convergent billing solutions
- Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, complex IT solutions
- Experience with legacy system modernization and enterprise integrations
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and fraud management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Nice to Have:
- Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Experience with cloud architecture and microservices
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in fintech
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning implementation in financial systems
- Experience with regulatory compliance in the financial sector
