The Role
We are seeking for a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems. You will drive test automation strategies, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development and product teams.
What You’ll Do
- •Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded firmware validation.
- •Create and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
- •Work closely with firmware developers to understand system architecture and define test strategies.
- •Develop scripts and tools to automate testing on hardware platforms (e.g., using Python, shell scripting, etc).
- •Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- •Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning.
- •Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines for embedded firmware.
- •Maintain test environments, including hardware test benches and simulators.
