A Look Inside the Job 

We are looking for a Software Engineer highly skilled in core Microsoft technologies, and experience shipping enterprise-level software to join our team - you will develop and support the team. 

Working as part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the global scalability, support and enhancement of an industry leading, enterprise-grade platform that is revolutionizing the way IT companies do business, globally. 

What you’ll do 

  • Contributing to large scale product integrations by leveraging third-party APIs, enhancing UI workflows, and adhering to the latest security standards.  
  • Applying application knowledge to design high-impact solutions to improve the stability and quality of the platform. 
  • Implementing root cause fixes to issues triaged by L3 Support. Communicating with stakeholders to keep customers informed.  
  • Taking a proactive approach to resolve application issues. Develop unit and functional tests to prevent future occurrences. 
  • Assisting with refining, prioritizing, and managing of your team’s the issue backlog. 
  • Promote positive communication, collaboration, and team growth.   
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Technical Support, Software Development, QA, Design, Documentation, and Product Management. 
  • Ensure the health and availability of the production application through monitoring, analysis of event logs, and debugging high priority production issues. 
  • Collaborating with fellow engineering team members to maintain architectural knowledge of new features and changes to the platform. 
  • Being a positive role model, that others want to follow and be inspired by. 
  • Being an agent of change. Identify gaps in processes and tasks. An advocate of new ideas to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Developing tooling to improve development and deployment processes. 

 

About You 

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
  • 1+ years of experience programming in C# and ASP.Net 
  • Strong computer science fundamentals: industry standard patterns and practices 
  • Experience working with cross functional teams completing root cause analysis, debugging code, and bug fixes 
  • Passionate technologist looking to teach and learn from the best in software development 
  • Independent, driven, creative, and likes to take ownership 
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand and execute on development roadmaps 

Technology & Tools 

  • Core Microsoft technologies - C#, SQL, .Net, ASP.Net 
  • API development - REST, SOAP 
  • Front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) 
  • Experience with modern authentication mechanisms 
  • Experience maintaining production services and applications 
  • Experience with multiple application architectures (e.g., service-oriented architecture) 
  • Experience facilitating the implementation of modern security patterns and practices 
  • Broad and deep knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns  
  • Experience working with continuous integration systems
