Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Software Engineer - SAP ABAP (Global Trade Services)
Poznan, Poland
Your responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer for John Deere, you will work on an Agile delivery team responsible for Global Trade Services product. In addition, you will:

• Design, develop, and test code/configuration required to deliver desired functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure features meet business needs.
• Create necessary documentation.
• Develop work estimates to facilitate team planning processes.
• Follow Agile software delivery methodology.
• Perform delivery using current technologies and practices.
• Provide technical leadership within delivery team.
• Coach and helps develop other team members.

Our requirements:

• 4 or more years of experience with application development (ABAP), configuration, database, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
• Experience with SAP ECC / S4.
• 4 or more years of experience with implementing projects using Test Driven Development, Security by Design, and Automated Testing.
• 4 or more years of experience and proficiency in SAP Products.
• 4 or more years working with SAP Integrations (SAP PI, IDOCs, Proxy Services) 6 or more years of experience converting business requirements into technical requirements/solutions.
• Background in computer technology, methodologies, and full life-cycle development.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP GTS - Risk Management, Customs Management and Compliance Management configuration and processes.
• Experience with SAP SD - SD Org Structure, Sales Order Processing, Delivery, Returns, and Integrations to GTS - SAP MM.
• Experience with MM Org. Structure, Master Data, Purchasing, Inventory, and Integrations to GTS.
• 4 or more years of experience implementing major IT programs or projects that are broad in scope or multi-unit/cross divisional.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• SAP Analytics (HANA, SAP BusinessObjects, BW & BI).
• Education (or equivalent work experience).
• Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
