This is a hybrid role working from our Dublin office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Team Manager for Financial Solutions Risk Platform.
You'll Get To...
- Build a Financial Solutions Risk Platform.
- Protect the finances of hundreds of thousands of merchants and their customers.
- Work with world class Senior and Staff engineers.
- Shape the architecture and guiding principles of our commerce platform.
- Mentor engineers to develop their skills in software development and payments.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in the software industry.
- This is a good to have: Experience in the risk space e.g. trading, gambling, payments.
- Experience coaching Junior engineers with diverse specialties.
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and partners.
- Communicating technical complexity to people without a technical background.
- Solid background of engineering best practices.
- API design, test automation, documentation, architectural design code reviews.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Experience with a non-relational / noSQL database such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
- Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
