Rue Gilt Groupe is looking for a Junior Software Engineer (Front-end) to join our expanding Storefront Engineering Team in Dublin, IRE. This person is someone who is inspired to build scalable and sophisticated systems that synthesize data from thousands of brands and millions of consumers, to deliver an engaging real-time experience to users on the go.
The Storefront Engineering Team transforms our user experience and drives $1 Billion annual sales and delights our 35+ Million members. You enjoy an agile, fast-paced environment that has a start-up feel but is part of something much larger, impactful, collaborative, and exciting. We're currently modernizing our technical stack and need motivated contributors to drive our technology forward. On the frontend you'll be able to contribute to modern React and Typescript single page applications, running on AWS cloud native architectures that handle problems at scale among 35+ million users.

What You’ll Do:- Contribute to future development and architecture for our internal tools team.
- Participate in developing an inspiring technology vision and deliver on that vision through incremental value releases.
- Deliver fast user experience for our desktop stakeholders, utilizing React, and other technologies.
- You will work closely with other senior software engineers and product managers to deliver rapid value.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Participate in UI development of multiple complex UI components across individual workflow applications.
- Interact with stakeholders across multiple business and technology teams.

- Bachelor’s Degree desired, but not required
- Basic experience in Web technologies like React, Typescript, or Node.JS. Anything else is a bonus!
- Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms, AWS would be a great plus
- Knowledge in design systems
- Familiarity with Cloud services (AWS, GCP…)
- Familiarity with CI/CD best practices
- Saas experience, developing internal tools experiences preferable
- A drive to iterate architecture in harmony with an agile workflow
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- love of learning and getting things done
- Fluency in English Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a collaborative team environment
