Reporting to the Director, Data Science, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining robust data sharing capabilities across our platform. This includes building new integrations, refining existing ones, while also identifying necessary system evolutions to deliver a flexible, scalable, and maintainable platform.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust API, file-sharing, and data warehouse integrations with internal and external partners
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
  • Evaluate and evolve system architecture to enhance self-service capabilities and reduce manual intervention
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data sharing processes meet quality, scalability, and security standards
  • Monitor integration performance and propose improvements to streamline data exchange operations

What success looks like in this role:

  • Consistently high integration uptime, ensuring reliable data exchanges
  • Adherence to defined SLAs for rapid resolution of customer-reported and system-detected issues
  • Timely completion and deployment of new integration requests

What we expect from you: 

  • At least 4 years experience as a software engineer
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript or Javascript
  • At least 4 years experience working with SQL (PostgreSQL and Snowflake preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and identify root causes
  • Experience developing API integrations
  • Understanding of software architecture best practices around proactive monitoring and performance optimization
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills working effectively cross-functionally
  • High sense of ownership with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in data exchange processes

The target base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,250, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
