Software Engineer II - Test

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET) to join our team. As a SDET, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, ensuring robust software quality, and driving continuous improvements in our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Protractor, and other tools.
Ensure seamless integration of automation tests in CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.
Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with developers to ensure robust unit testing and integration testing practices.
Collaboration & Communication:
Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to identify potential testing requirements early.
Partner with product owners, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews to improve test coverage and software quality.
Tool and Framework Enhancement:
Contribute to the enhancement of existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and maintainability.
Recommend and implement industry best practices in test automation.

Must-Have Skills:
Playwright: Hands-on experience in building and managing UI test automation frameworks.
Jenkins: Proven ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Protractor: Solid experience in writing and executing automated test cases.
BrowserStack: Expertise in cross-browser testing and troubleshooting.

Good-to-Have Skills:
Gatling & Blazemeter: Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
Selenium: Familiarity with automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
