Job responsibilities
- Contribute to the management and security of the Azure platform at JPMorganChase through the design and development of software solutions.
- Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
- Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
- Embraces team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and expanding applied experience
- Experience with cloud computing and Terraform.
- Familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language - Python
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and the Azure SDK.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Desire to learn and continuously grow.
- Experience with Azure Policy and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- A cloud certificate e.g. an Azure certification or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
