Make Your Mark:
Join BlackLine as a Full-Stack Software Engineer on the UI Platform team. You will contribute to the modernization of our enterprise web platform, working on both the React-based App Shell and the Java backend services that support it.
This is a hands-on coding role where you will grow your skills in a complex, cloud-native environment. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement features, fix bugs, and improve the reliability of our platform infrastructure
You'll Get To:
Component Development: Develop and maintain scalable features across the stack - from Java microservices to React-based front-end shells - ensuring seamless inter-app communication.
Modernize & Migrate: Contribute to the migration from legacy applications (.NET) to modern React-based solutions with micro-frontend App Shell architecture
Cloud & DevOps Support: Assist in configuring and monitoring CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and participate in cloud deployments using Terraform.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code adhering to solid OOP Write tests (unit tests, integration) to ensure high coverage and stability.
Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, learn from senior mentors, and collaborate with other developers to resolve full stack issues.
Troubleshooting: Help debug issues across the stack, from browser console errors to backend API exceptions.
What You'll Bring:

• Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Core Technologies: Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in React.
• Cloud Awareness: Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and an understanding of cloud-native development concepts.
• Development Lifecycle: Solid understanding of the full SDLC, from analyzing stakeholder requirements to technical implementation.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies like micro-frontends and cloud architecture.
