What we’re looking for

We are looking for a proactive and driven sales professional to join us as an SMB New Business Account Executive. This role is crucial for accelerating our growth, as you will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, by identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced "hunter" environment and is strongly results-oriented.

What you’ll be working on

  • Own the Full Cycle: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from creative prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Create Opportunities: Leverage Outreach to engage prospective customers via phone, email, and social channels, building a healthy pipeline.
  • Consult & Solve: Deliver tailored product demonstrations that address specific customer needs rather than just pitching features.
  • Drive Growth: Consistently aim to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets through strategic account planning.
  • Forecast with Precision: Maintain accurate Salesforce data to track progress and ensure a seamless handover to the Customer Success team.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Experience: 1 - 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience, with a specific focus on outbound prospecting and new business acquisition.
  • Methodology: Familiarity with structured sales frameworks such as Sandler, MEDDPICC, or similar methodologies.
  • Strategic Mindset: A creative approach to prospecting—you prefer generating your own opportunities over waiting for inbound leads.
  • Resilience & Drive: A goal-oriented attitude with the ability to navigate challenges and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coachability: A genuine growth mindset; you seek out feedback and continuously look for ways to sharpen your craft.
  • ​​Strong A.I. Curiosity: Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience with generative and research AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) to accelerate prospecting, personalization, and productivity; a growth mindset toward leveraging AI in the sales process is essential.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
